Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in an excellent game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the casino, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, starting players don’t need to be concerned about other, more skillful individuals taking their cash.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, novices are able to take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied decisions.
It is also much simpler to participate in for a long time with only a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the casino gets seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
