Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that players compete with other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make quick selections.

It is also easier to play for a very long time with just a little bit of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house gets seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
