Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the dealer announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers attain 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager comes the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pays chips even with your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
