Web poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different players acquire five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you need to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is akin to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes directly to the bank. After the bet is the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with a sum on par with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pays out cash equal to your original bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
