Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players do not need to fret about other, more advanced people winning their money.
One more Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game play, beginners can take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty decisions.
It is also much simpler to participate in for an extended time with just a small bit of cash since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given 7 cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
