Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that players wager against other players. By competing against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to worry about other, more advanced people winning their cash.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, newcomers can take their time and plan without needing to make quick selections.
It’s also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with just a little bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the house is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
