For a game where most participants rarely consider fortune, there are lots of superstitions in poker. When you say that an individual was fortunate in that poker tournament they won, be careful of how you mention it. For example, if you mention that you were unfortunate, your luck may not change.
Ok, that may appear to be a bit ubsurd, but poker is a casino game loaded with folklores. Did you realize that if you’re betting a game with two seperate decks and you are asked to choose the deck, you should always select the deck of cards that’s the furthest away from you? Or, how about If you get a streak of bad cards, you have to hang out on a hankerchief to break your horrible luck? It is certainly considered good luck to blow through a pack of cards when they’re being randomized.
A few other fascinating poker folklores are:
- You will be able to change the run of cards by going around your chair three times.
- The luckiest position at the poker table faces the entrance.
- The most detrimental position has its rear to a fireplace.
- When changing chairs, you really should constantly do so following the clock.
- The unluckiest poker card is the 4 of clubs.
- It is very unlucky to cross your legs when sitting at the poker table.
- Mon is a horrible day for wagering on cards.
- The thirteenth is also a terrible day, regardless of when it falls.
